Cookies Policy
What this site stores.
What cookies and similar technologies this website uses, why, and how you control them.
In short. This website does not set any cookies of its own, and it does not store information in your browser. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, and we do not sell data collected through cookies. The only third-party request the site makes is for web fonts.
01What cookies and similar technologies are
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage, pixels and tags. They are used to make websites work, to remember your choices, and to understand how a site is used. The rules governing them in the UK come from the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR), alongside the UK GDPR.
02Our approach
We keep this to the minimum. We do not use cookies to build a profile of you, to track you across other websites, or for advertising. Where we use anything that is not strictly necessary, we either ask for your consent or — where the exemption introduced by the Data (Use and Access) Act 2025 applies to statistical and functionality technologies — we rely on that exemption and give you a clear way to opt out.
03What we use
| Category | What it does and whether you can control it |
|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Required for the site to function and to keep a form session secure. These do not require consent and cannot be switched off, because the site cannot work without them. This site currently sets none. |
| Statistics and functionality | Used to understand how the site is used and to remember your preferences. Where used, these rely on the Data (Use and Access) Act 2025 exemption or on your consent, and you can opt out. This site currently sets none. |
| Advertising and tracking | Used to target advertising or track you across sites. We do not use these at all. |
04Web fonts and third-party requests
This website loads its typefaces from a third-party font service. When your browser requests those font files, that service receives your IP address and technical information about your browser. The service does not set cookies on this site, but the request is still a disclosure of your IP address to a third party.
[Recommended: self-host the fonts so that no third-party request is made and no IP address is disclosed. If you keep the external font service, name it here and confirm the transfer safeguard. Update this section to match what the live site actually does.]
05How to control cookies
You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers let you block all cookies, block third-party cookies, or delete cookies when you close the browser. Blocking strictly necessary technologies may stop parts of a website working.
- Browser help pages explain how to manage cookies for your specific browser.
- Where we introduce statistical or functionality technologies, we will provide a settings control on this page and a clear way to opt out.
- You can also use the “Do Not Track” or equivalent signal in your browser, which we will respect.
[Once analytics are added: insert the full cookie table — cookie name, provider, purpose, category and duration — and link your cookie settings control here. This must match the technologies the live site sets.]
06Changes to this policy
We will update this policy whenever the technologies we use change. The version number and “last updated” date at the top will change with it. If we start using cookies that require consent, we will ask for that consent before setting them.
